Here is a really wonderful book, looks like a first edition although it is not marked as such. Dated 1884, the title is Barn Plans and Out-Buildings. There are 257 illustrations! Here is a sample of the Table of Contents; General Farm Barns, Cattle Barns & Stables, Dairy Barns, Cattle Shelters, Sheep Barns and Sheds, Poultry Houses, Piggeries, Carriage Houses, Corn Houses, Ice Houses, Spring Houses, Smoke Houses, Dog Kennels, Birds Houses, Root Cellers and Root Houses, The Preservation of Fodder in Silos, etc. There are many illustrations of the above plus many more! The book is in great condition; please look at the photo of the spine and you can see there is a bite taken out of the bottom of the back side of the spine that does not affect the condition of the book. In other words the spine is nice and tight. I can't find any tears, marks or even dog earred pages! Fabulous! I found this book on two other websites, one sold for $185. and the other for $140. and their condition was not nearly as great as this! For over ten years I sold on Ebay under the ID 'gr8ful', with over 3600 positive feedback score. I have literally thousands of items to list, from antique photos to barkcloth and everything in between. It will take me quite a while to get it all listed so please check back often!
