This ceramic lamp base, circa the late 1940's - early 1950's, shows Elsie the Cow holding and reading a book to her calf, Beauregard. The size is about 4" x 4" x 7-1/2" to the top of her horns. The socket adds another 2-1/2" to the height. The lamp is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, or repairs. There is no shade included. The 2 prong cord is in great shape as well.
