VINTAGE BORDENS "RICHER MALTED MILK" SODA FOUNTAIN BACKBAR CONTAINER This unusual version of the Bordens malt tins would have been seen sitting on the backbar of your local Soda fountain or Diner in the 1940's ready to dispense the malt for those deliscious thick malted milkshakes we all loved! Very nice clean crisp example with "debossed" lettering & 3 logos around the exterior to advertise the Bordens product from all angles as you sat at the Soda counter! Nice strong original paint on all 3 logos display equally the same! This is the original lid for this type of malt dispenser as this Bordens tin only took this "fat" knobbed type of lid & not the thinner variety that we often see! The lid fits perfectly as it should! This piece has been in my collection for the past 35yrs. When will you see another as clean as this! Take a glance at my remarkably clean HIRES "UGLY BOY" mug in my other listing! Would make a wonderful addition to any Soda fountain, Ice cream parlor,Diner,Luncheonette,Drugstore,Apothecary collection or used as a kitchen display to dispense flour,sugar,etc!
