Vintage incredibly beautiful bouquet of roses hand made true cross stitch on Aida cloth embroidery drawnwork tablecloth. Incalculable amount of time and effort went into making this stunning masterpiece with intricate roses, rose buds, leaves, and stems embroidery. Equally fascinating are the single roses done in drawn work. It appears that one single large piece of aida cloth was used to make this beauty! Vibrant colors make a splash! The pattern is the following: 8 bouquets of roses, 4 on the length and 2 on the width, measure approximately 14" x 10 1/2" each 15 single roses done on drawnwork, 5 on the length and 3 on the width, measure approximately 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" each roses on drawnwork are highlighted with leaves and diamonds 12 single embroidery roses, 4 on each side, 2 on top and 2 on bottom 4 rose buds, 1 on each corner Excellent vintage condition with no holes, no tears, and no stains. Gently washed and pressed. Measures 95" x 57". Note on true cross stitch: The embroidery work on the bottom side will show stitches running parallel with each other, none, not one stitch will cross with the others.
