We ship ASAP (As Soon As Paid), which means this will get there for the Holiday This vintage Bowes thermometer measures 38 ½ inches in length, and is 8 inches wide. I believe this dates to the 1940’s, and it is in good, working condition. The glass thermometer does work and is accurate. Over the years, there have been a few dents and dings, as can be seen in the pictures. There is a light surface rust on the back, but can be treated easily if desired. Probably the most critical item with the condition is the surface. Someone sprayed most of the front of this with a clear polyurethane at some point in the past. Now, it did help to preserve the original surface, but it also added a sheen that one typically doesn’t see with these old pieces. Still a nice addition to any advertising collection.
