This is a box of 11 old glass ornaments, most believed to be Polish but there could be some from Germany, also. This is not the original box but I am including it with the group. Some of these are the very lightweight and delicate walled types. These are not for the perfectionist looking for excellent condition vintage ornaments. These are for the person who loves the mellowed aged look and doesn't mind some imperfections such as paint crackling, some paint and silvering loss or chipped necks. All of the ornaments hang well and are perfectly usable. They will look beautiful on your tree; it is just upon closely examining them that you see their flaws. I would consider them to be a medium sized ornament with the balls measuring about 2-1/2" wide. There are several of the very delicate ones, two in a teardrop shape, which have an evergreen sprig scene on them. They are really neat but these have the paint crackling. One has a missing metal cap and has only the hanging loop inside the chipped neck. Besides these, there is one indented teardrop, a ball with a hand painted snowman scene, 4 balls with stripes or bands of designs, a solid red ball and a striped teardrop. The box measures 11" x 8-1/4" and is missing the cellophane window.
