This auction is for a vintage Boy Scouts of America Boys' Life "Pedro" wool jacket . This was an estate sale find and we were told by the previous owner's son (the son was in his 70's) that his father was heavily involved with the Scouts all of his life. It is a size large and measures 25" from the top of the shoulder to the end of the sleeve, 22½" from the underarm seam to the edge of the cuff, 25" from underarm to underarm lying flat and 29¾" from the bottom of the collar in back to the bottom of the jacket. It is 85% wool, 15% nylon and is dry clean only. It has 2 breast pockets with buttons, 2 bottom slanted pockets and all of the buttons are accounted for. It is in very good condition with the exception of needing to be cleaned to remove lint and wrinkles. T are no stains, moth holes, rips, tears or repairs of any kind. I had to tape the backs of the tags at the neck to photograph them as they are worn and wrinkled. T is a tag at the bottom of the inside of the jacket on which to write your name and address, which someone did but it is illegible. The greens and reds are very deep but some red appears a bit orange from the light reflections while photographing.
