Nice looking fully patched Scout Shirt from a Taiwan Boy Scout. Not sure of exact vintage of this shirt but guessing 1960s or 1970s. Also unsure of size but it measures approximately 19" across the front. Lightweight green shirt features two chest pockets and epaulets on each shoulder. There is a large cloth label in the neck but it is washed out and nothing is readable or legible on it any longer. Includes some hard to find insignia including an International Delegation patch on the right sleeve, and a Rover patch on the left pocket. Just a guess, but maybe this scout attended a World Jamboree at some point. The International patch, CHINA patch, and small Taiwan flag are all embroidered on wool base material and they are each attached to the shirt by means of snaps and can be removed for laundering purposes I assume. Rover Scout and small tab over right pocket are machine sewn to shirt. All of the buttons feature the small Boy Scout design and can also be removed and have small rings on the back for attaching them to the shirt. Overall the shirt and patches are in very good condition. There are some dirty areas on the front of the shirt and there is a light colored dirty area on the front above and below the next to the bottom button which might wash out, I have not tried. The inside of the collar is also a little bit dirty. There read more
