My wife and I use eBay to sell a wide variety of items--many acquired from used merchandise vendors (flea markets, yard sales, auctions, and such). We use brief descriptions to represent listings honestly--relying heavily on photos to convey information. We never end auctions based on price! We perform minimal cleaning on delicate antique/collectible items to avoid compromising value by using incorrect procedures. Our photos represent everything for sale in each lot, as well as condition. Please study pictures provided; and, never assume more than what you can see. Merchandise description: This fan ran well, but did not oscillate properly, when I first purchased it a few months ago. When I tested it again before posting, it was slow to start. I had to spin the blades by hand several times for it to start running. After it started running, I could switch speeds and turn it off and on and it would run. It is very dusty inside the motor and may just need brushes and contacts cleaned. It is missing two bolts and nuts that hold the base plate on. One screw and bold/nut remain and holds it in place well. It is also missing a screw and bracket for mounting the cage/shroud. SHIPPING INFO: Most orders ship within one business day .
