Mini brass souvenir album holds stamp-sized photographs of well-known landmarks in Paris, France. Pictured are: STATUE DE LA REPUBLIQUE, L'ARC DE TRIOMPHE, LA TOUR EIFFEL, LE TROCADERO, L'OBELISQUE, NOTRE-DAME, LE PANTHEON and LE SACRE-COEUR. Photos fit into a 3 sided brass tray that is removable. Hinged cover holds tray (and photos) securely with a little hasp. Decorative outside cover of the piece says ALBUM SOUVENIR. Brass cover is embossed with scrollwork and bleeding heart flowers on the front and a blank shield and bleeding heart flowers on the back. Shield could possibly be a place to engrave a name or initials. Possibly a souvenir piece from World War I. Very nice condition. Has some discoloration on the back. Also looks like the single picture should be glued to the inside of the back cover but it has come loose. Very nice item! Measures approx 1 x 1 1/2.
