BRASS SCHOOL BELL, c. 1895. This bell comes complete with original finial, clapper and turned handle. The nickel plating over the brass bell is in very good condition. Rare to find one this nice. It is 6 1/2" high and is 3 1/4" across at the base of the bell. This is the type of bell kept on the teacher's desk in those old country schoolhouses. It has a beautiful ring and would easily get the children's attention when recess was over. Enjoy bidding on this memory of days gone by. Thanks for looking.
