In two separate auctions, I have listed a vintage Breyer Moose and a vintage Breyer Elk. This auction is for the Elk (sorry, no original box). I bought this pair of Breyer models when my 22 year old daughter was a baby. They have been stored away in a box for most of the year and have only been used for Christmas display. They were never toys for my children to play with. Both the Moose and the Elk are in very good condition as regards the finish. Hardly any paint loss or scratches. Nice dark brown patina on both of them.
I am only letting this vintage pair go because we are downsizing, and that includes our holiday decor. I will miss them!
PLEASE NOTE: Ithas been suggested to me that the Moose may have defective antlers. Ihave provided many photos in the Moose listing to show that one antler lays lower than the other. I myself never noticed this until it was pointed out to me. I can say with certainty, however, that this is how Mr. Moose came to me from Breyer. Same with the Elk. He has never been cracked or repaired in any way. As a result, I have tried to photo both the Moose and the Elk from all angles so no one is disappointed. In addition, if you would like photos from other angles of either animal, please specify and send me your Email address and I will Email you with pictures as attachments.
