Vintage British Army Scarlett Red Dress Jacket (dated 1938) Colour: Scarlett Red with Dark Green Lapels and Ivory colour piping. Size Comfortably fits a chest size of 34 to 36 Inches 87 to 92cm chest (no front closing buttons as the jacket is designed to be left open. Length of jacket: 18.50 Inches 47cm Sleeve Length: 24 Inches 61cm Genuine Military Uniform Jacket superbly tailored in London by John Jones & Co military outfitters. The outside of the jacket is in tiptop condition; inside the red silk lining is completely shot away and in my opinion beyond repair. If the jacket was relined and dry cleaned you would be looking at a pristine period scarlet military dress jacket dating back to just before the outbreak of World War 2 All that said if you are not bothered about a ragged lining, the jacket as it stands is still wearable and very robust The trousers which came with this jacket are being listed separately ( Vintage British Army Dress Trousers (dated 1938) 1 kilo
