This Block Plane is British Made from the Fifties and has been restored , it has been stripped down cleaned the frame and lever cap re-sprayed the sides and sole cleaned and the tote re-varnished , there are a few marks on the sole and sides conducive with age , the blade is clean and has had minor surface rust removed but has no major pitting , all in all this is a lovely little plane that would do the job it was designed to do or sit proudly in the best of tool collections .
