PROUDLY PRESENTS ANTIQUE PRUSSIAN SOLDIER BRONZE STATUE *************** Just in from Estate Liquidation We are pleased to bring you this vintage Bronze statue of a Prussian/German military officer, outfitted in full regalia. The anonymous sculptor put a lot of detail into the officer, from the buttons on his coat, to the fingernails on his hands, and his neatly trimmed moustache and goatee. Not only does he have a sword in his left hand, he's wearing another sword in a scabbard on his right hip. Plus t's a sidearm on his belt. If you look very carefully you'll see a letter "P" on the front of his Kepi (cap), and another "P' on his belt buckle. He's standing on an octagonal base that has the year 1890 inscribed on the front, which in turn, rests on a square marble base. The bronze is heavy, nicely aged, and has a golden patina. T are absolutely no flaws or repairs of any kind anyw on the figure. It's a lovely, well preserve bronze sculpture. MEASURES: 10" TALL X 2 3/4" WIDE WEIGHT: 5.3 LBS.
