Bronze & Rosewood Flatware 144 pieces - Thailand This flatware was purchased in the 60's in Bangkok, Thailand. Did it come in a wood box? Yes, but it was in terrible condition on the inside as all the interior fabric was coming unglued and the elastic holding things in place had lost it's elasticity. Since being removed from the box, it has been stored in a hope chest wrapped in tissue and then in an old pillow case. T are 12, eleven piece place settings and 12 serving pieces.(See pics 1 & 2). T are Thai figurines on the end of all the handles with the marking "J. Thailand". (see pic 3) It is in need of polishing to remove the tarnish. I have not inspected each piece for the condition of tarnish and whether or not it's all removeable, but t are NO broken pieces and the wood on the handles is not cracked or dried out. I would recommend NOT putting in a dishwasher because of the wood. T is a brochure accompanying this set which will identify each piece and its use. An unusual flatware service for that special occasion.
