Swedish designer's versatile Maria table from 1930s. This is an older example with the contrasting hybrid woods, teak and birch with nice brass hardware. Although the table is very old it is still highly usable and sturdy. T are clear signs of use to this table, but only one of the panels shows some visible surface scratching. T are minor imperfections alongside the edges which I think add to the character. This table makes a wonderful work surface, leaving plenty of room to spread things about. The table is marked Made in Sweden on the bottom of the bases and beneath the locking support piece. It would be a nice addition to any Eames era home or office and is in the vein of Hans Wegner's designs and the like. Dims: 90cm W x 72cm H x 23-280cm L Shipping is $90 to US buyers.
