Unmarked, but clearly seen in your Sanford's Guide to Brush McCoy II, this is a vintage Penguin and Igloo planter. Produced in the 1950's as mold #332A, it measures 5.5" tall, 5.5" wide and remains in very nice condition. Some faint crazing has developed on his belly, and he has a lightly glazed spot at the end of his beak, but t are no chips, cracks, repairs or signs of use. Pittsburgh's favorite "Flightless Birds" have been grounded by Detroit, let's just hope the Stanley Cup Finals are still going when this auction ends!
