This auction is for a vintage Honey Pot in the shape of a Honey Bee. It is made of ceramic or pottery and it is the cutest thing to have sitting out with your honey, sugar, marmalade or whatever you can imagine in it in your kitchen. Also great for bee lovers to sit on your desk and hold your paper clips or rubber bands. It's even sweet enough for your baby's nursery and would be an awesome addition to the Pooh theme! The body sits snuggly in a stand of black metal wire that is shaped into the legs of the bee. The body is removal from the stand for easy cleaning. The bee itself is in two pieces. The wings make the lid and are separate from the body and lift off for filling of the bowl/pot or for cleaning. T is an indention in the back of the wings so that a spoon or honey dripper can rest in the bowl with the lid (wings) on. I am including a wooden honey dripper that I purchased at Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri, from a lady who sells fresh honey. It has a cute little bee on the end of it and has never been used. My Honey Pot is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It does have the usual crazing for a vintage item of its age but is very light. It measures approximately 4" high, 6" long, and 3" wide. Thanks for browsing my auctions.
