This is a WONDERFUL Vintage Butterfly Wing Compact. As you can see a butterfly is the center design and the background is butterfly wings. The covering over the butterfly and wings has a few light surface scratches. I'm not sure if the compact is sterling or not. I can find no mark but sometimes sterling was not marked. It has been partially cleaned.....will leave that up to the Buyer. The mirror is intact...no chips or cracks. Compact measures 2" across and 1/2" tall. This is a very unique piece!
