Vintage Butterscotch Bakelite "Cocktail Recipes" Camel

I am offering a very unique vintage barware item made of carved butterscotch bakelite. It is a figural camel with a "Cocktail Recipes" book on his side. The camel sits on a black bakelite base. The recipe book is on spiral rings, like a notebook. I think that the cover of the recipe book and the rings are made of celluloid. The camel measures 3 1/2" tall and is 4" across. The base measures 3" long by 1"wide. The bakelite camel is 1/4" thick. This piece is in very good "as found" condition. T are no chips or cracks to the bakelite. T is surface dirt from age. The cocktail recipe pages are paper, and they are age stained and I noticed that the first page is torn at the "ring hole", but the other pages are fine. This is a great item...hope you like it, too. It has been buried in the collection of an eccentric area dealer who recently passed away, leaving a wonderful hoard of many fine and rare items.
