This old Globe Wernicke roll top desk came from the estate of a dealer/collector. It is constructed of solid walnut and isextremely heavy and sturdy. It needssome restoration work, as there is a piece broken off the roll top (but it still rolls easily), there are surface scratches and scuffs and a broken piece on the left side of the interior of the desk. The drawers on the lower left are stuck. There is no key for the desk. The hardware is all original and complete. The back of the desk is paneled for placement in the center of a room. It measures 5’w x 34”d x 44 ¾”h – work surface is 29”h.
