VINTAGE CHINA c1936 DECO PERIOD SHABBY CHIC CAKE STAND " DAINTY MISS " PATTERN. IN ROYAL FALCON WARE, DURABILITY by J.H. WEATHERBY & SONS. THE PATTERN DEPICTS A CRINOLIN LADY STYLE DAINTY MISS IN A LILAC DRESS, PRIMROSE PETTYCOAT AND HOLYHOCKS. THE EDGE HAS AN EMBOSSED DETAIL AND GILT RIM. THE PICTURE IS TITLED "DAINTY MISS". THE BASE FOOT IS OF ALLOY CONSTRUCTION. PLATE: 9" (22.8cm) diameter x 2.3/4" (7cm) standing height. CONDITION : GOOD with wear to chrome plated screw head. These delicate pieces are of vintage age! They are functional pieces that were designed to be used and appreciated. They were made in a time when quality control may not have been of the utmost importance. I DO MY UTMOST TO LIST ANY FAULTS but reclaimed pieces do sometimes show very minor minute manufacturing blemishes, flaws and errors and slight signs of use. I am unable to list every minute detail. Items with these minute manufacturing errors are generally listed and accepted as in good condition, please be aware of this.
