Vintage c1950 14" MARY HOYER Doll

This authentic doll by Mary Hoyer dates from circa 1950, and is being sold on behalf of the world-famous New York Doll Hospital in Manhattan. Measures 14.25" tall. "Mary Hoyer" hallmark on the rear. Vintage underpants and a sparkling new dress. Working eyes and moving arms and legs. Very good conditionl. No restorations of any kind.
Additional images forwarded upon request. The New York Doll Hospital may be the oldest continually-operated doll restoration business in the world. Opened in 1900 by Abraham Chais, it has been run since 1946 by his grandson, Irving Chais , who's known around the world as the doctor who's "never lost a patient". For decades, leading collectors, dealers, and museum curators from around the world have sent their dolls to Irving for repair.
