You are bidding on a Vintage c. 1960 Dome Encrusted Star Juliana Pin Brooch. These highly desirable true Juliana pieces (DeLizza and Elster of NY) are not hard to come by but they are commonly mislabeled.In addition, this brooch is en vogue with Spring 2008 Magenta Lavender and Orange colors. This gorgeous substantial multi-colored brooch is in the dome encrusted star motif with a Juliana style. T are a goldtone metal base, pin and icing ribbons. T are 3 shades of purple (magenta, purple and lavender) jumbled prong-set rhinestones of 3 sizes and 2 shapes (open-backed navette and round). Additionally, t are open-backed marquise (navette) orange prong-set rhinestones and 2 sizes of round pink prong-set and bead-set rhinestones.The larger round rhinestones are heavily prong-set.This brooch is domed and has a central core, w the 3 icing ribbons meet, over larger jumbled rhinestones. This design also lends itself to a pleasantly full three dimensional high relief appearance.The brooch is not signed as it would have come with a hang tag that was subsequently removed for wear. The brooch is in very good condition, considering it's age, with no missing, dull or chipped rhinestones and the goldtone metal is shiny, consistent and fully intact, however 3 of the orange rhinestones' outer 4th prong is missing.
