Vintage mid-century Cabin Crafts' Needletuft brand full-size chenille bedspread. Also has a sewn-in tag from Marshall Field & CompanyLight to medium blue background with pretty blue chenille in a plaid pattern. I would describe the color as between powder and colonial blue. The first few photos show the color accurately, but the last few close-up make it look quite washed out and gray, which is not the case at all. My photography skills are a bit lacking! Full-size measures 96" wide and 112" long (exclusive of fringe), which should take it right to the floor on a standard full-size bed. The photos were taken on a queen size bed and while it fits and looks nice on a queen, it does stop several inches short of the floor. Condition is very good with no rips or holes. There are a few very tiny yellowish spots on the underside. They are barely visible and take nothing away from this pretty bedspread. Chenille is thick and fluffy and overall this bedspread is just great!This is an estate sale find. The home was incredibly clean with no cigarette or pet odors. I found this in a cedar chest and it does have a cedar smell to it. I am not an expert in vintage textiles so I have made no attempt to launder. Please see photos for full detail.
