This auction is for a Vintage Cabin Crafts Needletuft Chenille Bedspread. This spread is in nearly perfect condition except for one thing - I believe it had a fringe of some sort attached to it at one time but someone cut it off. They did not cut the fabric of the spread itself so if you really wanted to you could remove it by just taking out the stitches and you'd have a hemmed edge only - or it can be left in place; as you really have to look closely at it to notice this.

This spread is all cotton, the base color is Light Pink and the tufted chenille and the popcorn tufts are white. The lines (which are a bit lower than the thickness of the popcorn tufts) are looped as are the popcorn tufts - which is not like other chenille spreads I have that have a "rough" or unlooped end to the tip of the chenille strands. I do not see anything wrong with this spread but it is very busy - full of the same pattern throughout it - lines that form a star or a daisy type of flower with diamond shaped criss-crosses of the popcorn tufts running in a pattern along all of the tips of the flower/star shaped lines.

The bedspread is 87 inches by 103 inches and the two bottom corners are rounded. On the reverse side of this spread the pink looks like t are sections that are lighter than others but when I look on the front I don't notice this - I'm guessing the full and busy pattern of the front covers any light or dark areas.
