A Superb and Rare telephone! My information is that this came from the Penthouse Suite at Caesars Palace Hotel, circa 1970! The solid brass rotary dial has a silver center that reads 'CAESARS PALACE...LAS VEGAS - NEVADA.'The very ornate base of this telephone has raised designs all around it, on all sides. I think this is silverplated or a silver metal that a magnet does not stick to. The top parts and ornate receiver hook is brass, and either copper plated or rose gold plated. The ivory parts of this custom telephone in ivory plastic, and I think also ivory bakelite. This is in EXCELLENT CONDITION! T are NO chips, cracks, scratches, or damages to any part of this, only a couple of small smudges to clean. Included is the original ivory curly cord, and the wall cord with a 4-prong commercial plug. I am unable to test this as it is, but I was told and believe that this phone is in good working order! On the bottom is the label with the serial number and 'MODEL...THE ELECTRA TELEPHONE...DATE 11 - 70...Made in Japan'. Large in size, this telephone measures 7 3/4" in height with the receiver in place. The base measures 6 5/8" by almost 7 3/4". This is a HEAVY telephone and weighs over 6 pounds. U.S. shipping is for the packed shipping weight of 8 lbs. by PRIORITY from zip 85743. Please see the shipping calculator for the rate to your read more
