Set of older straps with early hand made Campbell buckles. Straps are lace thru buckaroo style. Basket stamped. I don't find a mark but they are nice heavy straps with a lot of life left in them. Buckles are 1 1/2" by 1 5/8" with right at a 3/4" opening. Mounted with two silver tomahawks. Keeper is silver mounted. All hand cut and hand engraved. Natural patina. Marked " RFC (Robert F Campbell) on the backs. This is Campbell's earliest mark. Plenty good enough to wear but they would look great on an early pair of Campbell spurs. Robert is featured in the book " Bits & Spurs Techniques, Motifs and Modern Makers " by Ned and Jody Martin. NO RESERVE! Money order ships next day..checks must clear..$4.60 priority shipping.
