VINTAGE CAMPBELL 'S SOUP KITCHEN SOUP WARMER

This Campbell Soup warmer features a commercial Campbell 's Soup warmer. This item was used in soda fountain shops and food dinners and in the old Woolworth’s 5 & 10’s stores. The waitress would pour your choice of soup and plug it in, turn the dial and serve when ready.

It is stainless steel with red graphics. The base is 10 1/2" X 12" X 11". There are two original chromed metal cups that plug in to the double prong holes on the front that measure are 5 1/2" X 4 1/2" in diameter. Each cup is marked under the reddish -brown handle, CAMPBELL ’S HOT CUP - SPECIAL HOT CUP TO BE USED ONLY WITH CAMPBELL’S SOUP KITCHEN. DO NOT CONNECT TO CURRENT WHEN EMPTY- WASH CUP IMMEDIATELY AFTER EACH SERVING. Between the two dials to turn on / off is in red Campb ell 's soups . On the back is the word Campbell 's SOUP in red .

It has a heavy duty power cord in very brittle condition. We never tested it because of the condition of the cord that is dried out and the rubber coating is hard from age and flaking off. You can see in the pictures. We bought it in this condition and were going to have it re-wired but as you can see, that never happened . I WOULD NOT plug this in until the wiring was repaired . There is other light wear from many years of use in a diner or early restaurant setting.

We displayed this as a theme for a 1950’s diner setting- it is a great advertising restaurant piece.
