Up for bid is a VINTAGE Candy Chocolate Mold in the shape of what I'm told is CAT TONGUE. This mold is old, possibly Anton Reiche or Eppelsheimer Co.? It's extremely heavy - almost 3 pounds! I'm told this one is more rare than the other two I have listed, and when searching eBay for one like it, I didn't have much luck. There are six mold sections that appear to be more polished. Not sure if this was due to someone cleaning the metal, or if the metal in these particular sections were resurfaced. There is some discoloration, but it doesn't appear to be rust as it doesn't flake off, or come off with a soft cloth. I have not attempted to really clean it, so what you see is exactly how it is. This mold makes 28 individual candies, and measures approx 13.25" long by 6.5" wide by .75" thick. It was purchased at the Santa Monica Antique Market many years ago for $135, so this is a really good starting price! PAYMENT and SHIPPING Payment must be received within 3 days of end of auction.
