Canteenof Nickel Silver Firth Cutlery circa 1930’s Description The canteen comprises:- 6 - forks 6 - knives 6 - spoons 6 - teaspoons Comes with original covered wood case, presumed 1930's in age. As a guide, knives measure approx 20.2 cm long. All pieces are in quite a nice clean condition and look a little used. The canteen would definitely benefit from a good polish. The knives are marked STAINLESS MUSGRAVE & CO SHEFFIELD FIRTH STAINLESS, The spoons are marked RESILCO RUSTLESS NICKEL SILVER SHEFFIELD, the teaspoons & forks are marked STAINLESS NICKEL. The interior of the box is a bit dusty and faded, and a little tatty in places, as can be expected with its age. The hinges are okay, one clasp on the front is not working, otherwise the box appears to be solid and in good order. Items come from two bereavement house clearance. I am selling as I am moving house shortly and need to have a clear out before the move. Please contact me with any questions before bidding.
