we start with a vintage Capehart Farnsworth tube bakelite AM Clock radio in great looking & working condition. The model number of this radio is TC-62 & I believe it was made around 1953 by the Capehart Farnsworth radio & television corp. The cabinet of this radio is made out of bakelite or thick plastic & is jet black in color. The cabinet is in great condition without any cracks or chips including the back panel & it has a very high gloss shine that goes & goes however (& t is always a however in life) because it is a high gloss black finger prints & dust show up like a sore thumb other wise it is sweet. The metal gold mesh speaker grill is in great looking condition but the emblem on the front capehart is missing the T in capehart. The alarm clock is made by Telechron & it keeps great time & the alarm will buzz you up at the time you desire it to wake you up. The alarm has 3-small control knobs one is for ALARM-SET 2 is for SLEEP 0-60 3rd is WAKE-UP OFF MANUAL which all 3-functions work except the 1-knob for the alarm-set is missing but this should not be a huge problem to obtain one. The plastic clock fase is in good condition but could use a little cleaning on the inside which I was not able to do but it will clean up great. The chassis on this radio is fairly clean just a little dusty & this is a 5-tube unit & 2-controls 1 is for VOLUME & 2 is for TUNING which both knobs are original & in excellent looking & working condition. The electric cord is in good condition & when this radio is powered up the clock runs like a champ & the AM radio picks up many stations & plays them loud & clear without any hum. The size of this gem is 13inchs long 6inchs wide & 6inchs high unpackaged. This capehart farnsworth clock radio will make someone out t proud to put this in t collection or on t night stand nrxt to your bed. I hope someone will take this black beauty off my hands & at a very reasonable price. I would estimate shipping cost to be around $15.00 plus or minus a couple of dollars insured & mailed in the USA. I only charge for shipping what it cost me to ship it to you & no more this includes international shipping cost if it sells at all.
