This auction is for a very rare Capehart Orchestrope Jukebox, dating from 1929. It has the original Webster model 6013 triode valve amplifier and Jensen 'concert model D7' field coil speaker fitted. It is in very good physical condition, the cabinet has been re polished at some time in its life and does not have any woodworm. The record magazine holds 28 records, non selective. After playing each record, it is flipped over and re stacked at the bottom of the magazine for a total of 56 sides. The three bevelled glass windows are all original and I do have all four legs (only three shown in the picture). Approximately ten years ago it had a full mechanical and electronic service and has been in dry storage ever since. It would benefit from an overhaul. It is designed for 110 volt operation and would require a 240 to 110 volt step down transformer (minimum 500 watt) to operate in the UK. Included in this auction is a heavy duty trolley for easy moving, a copy of an original service handbook and a copy of an article in the Gramophone magazine dated July 1929. Due to its weight and size it is collect only
