Vintage chef knife 8.25 inch blade, 13 1/8 inch overall length hand forged carbon steel and hardwood handle, blade is marked Anton Wingen Jr. Othello with the logo of the mans Head. Blade is about 90% full with no heavy pitting or scratches, it's light, thin and springy just what one would expect of the best hand forged virgin German carbon steel. Hardwood handle is in good solid shape but is missing a part of the last rivet on the left hand scale and t is a small gap, nothing major and nothing new it has been t it looks like for decades.Free professional sharpening done without harsh overly aggressive belt sanders by myself, I have a sharpening service in San Francisco, Bernal Cutlery.
