This is truly a rare estate find! It is 1 1/2" wide and about 3/8" thick. It is a beautiful translucent cherry amber or rootbeer color. There is one flaw that is very hard to detect-I was checking it over with a magnifing glass when I saw it--it is a clean break on the inside but someone has repaired it. I show it in the 2nd picture. You can in no way see it from the top. Of course there is also a few surface scratches that you have to look hard to see. There are no chips on this well preserved piece from days gone by.The design is upside down on the opposite side. It also has a waffle effect between the 2 sunflower designs.
