This is unique. This hand carved coral pendant was carved from one large piece of coral. T are two serpent heads coiled around, and joined at the neck, coming from one intricately carved body, with spines sticking up across the back. This unique pendant is fastened, by chain links, to round and elongated, carved coral beads. The chain fastens with a hook and has one last carved coral bead, at the of the chain. The carving on the beads is interesting and well done. The carving on the pendant is extremely detailed. The longer you look, the more detail you see. The pendant is 3 5/8" across and 2 3/4" tall. The round beads are 1/2" in diameter, and the elongated beads are 1 3/4" in length. The entire necklace is 12" in length, fastened. This is a one of a kind piece of vintage hand carved coral jewelry. This has been in the same case for well over twenty five years, at least. Thank you for looking! I always ship within one day of payment and am happy to combine shipping.ADDED NOTE; I received a question which led to advice on how to clean and care for this piece. I gently cleaned it, then rubbed olive oil on it and wiped it with a soft cloth. The difference is amazing. The color has returned dramatically, and it doesn't feel brittle now. I have deleted some of the original pictures and added new. T is one portion on the upper inside rim of the pendant that is still lighter, and more porous than the rest. Perhaps it could be soaked longer to rehydrate it even more. I am grateful to have learned how to restore the color and beauty to this old piece. It now looks as I remember it looking well over twenty years ago.
