Vintage Carved Ivory Necklace Earrings Demi Parure

Offered at auction is a lovely set of fine quality carved bone ivory bead earrings with silver filigree detail and a matching necklace measuring 31 1/2" long, circa 1920's (?). T is a total of 54 beads in the necklace. The necklace shows lovely patination, gradually getting deeper closer to w it would touch the neck, as one would expect. Filigree in the earrings is stamped "ITALY". Earrings have a 2" fall. All carved beads are hollow and have metal (copper or brass) "eyelets" to the openings at both ends. They have the appearance of puzzle balls, without the interior carvings. Beautifully detailed filigree to the earrings. These pieces appear to have been carved by a skilled craftsman from bone ivory. (I am no expert!) I acquired these pieces a number of years ago from the estate of an ivory collector. No Reserve A thoughtful Christmas present!
