This is your chance to own a piece of history ! I have been fortunate enough to acquire a number of never-worn old American Bakelite bracelets, real vintage factory finds. I purchased the pieces I am listing from a friend who bought the contents of a bankrupt East Coast Bakelite factory many years ago. They have been in storage since they were pulled off of the production line in various stages of completion. As was the common practice, these bracelets were assembly-line carved with different workers performing different carvings. Each bracelet then would have been polished and finished using different tumbling methods. I received the bracelets with the carvings completed, but the finishing process had not been done. I have carefully polished each and every bracelet I am listing, and am delighted to offer them to lovers of guaranteed original American Bakelite. Over time, if you watch my listings, you may notice that I am offering what would appear to be duplicate items; I do have multiples of some bracelet styles. This is not unusual, as the factory personnel would carve dozens of the same style at once before moving on to a different design. I may only have one of some bracelets, and I have several of others.
