Really handsome old carved wooden figure of an English Setter (or similar breed). Unconditionally guaranteed genuine carved wood and not any type of molded or synthetic piece. As always, your money (less shipping) cheerfully refunded with *no questions asked* if you buy it and don't agree after you see it in person, but I really don't think you're going to want to give it back. An old estate piece with definite age and I would date it to around 1925 - 1950. Unmarked, but probably American, possibly European. T is an old foil sticker on hte underside, but it is too worn to read (see pics). Someone might recognize it, though, based on the size and shape. Excellent condition and extremely handsome as the pics show, but it **does** have one small repair. The dog was broken off the base at his feet at some point, and neatly re-attached. It is a very neat old repair and not in a bad place, but the breakage seams are visible at his ankles (see pics) and you do need to be aware of them. They would probably disappear almost entirely if you put a little color on them (briwax or similar), but I will leave that up to the new owner to decide upon. Except as noted, totally perfect on careful and honest inspection with no chips, cracks, repairs, missing parts, or damage to the finish. A large piece, it measures about 12" long and 6.25" tall. NO RESERVE and a nominal start, a nice eBay opportunity. Please check my other auctions for more interesting and luxe items from old Dallas estates, almost everything at NO RESERVE and starting under $10; I'm happy to combine shipping.
