We have for auction an original Vintage Case XX USA two dot Model 52032 " Red Etch " Jack pattern stag handle pocket knife This is an original Case knife made in 1978 and dated by the two dots marked on the tang. Case used a dating system w they placed dots ( . . ) on the tangs by the tang stamp to date their knives. This knife is what Case called a "Jack" pattern. this was a special knife from thier "RED etch" collection. These were only made in limited numbers.This particular model has STUNNING genuine Stag handles with great mellow tone. No cracks to the handles! It has hollow ground Stainless steel blades. This one has polished nickel silver bolsters with solid brass liners. This is a two blade knife. This knife has an over all length of 6 1/8" inches with the blade open, and the main blade measures 2 3/4" inches the secondary blade measures 2 1/8". it measures 3 1/2" closed. The knife has "CASE XX Stainless U.S.A." with two dots below and the pattern number "52032 SSP" on the reverse as a tang stamp(s) on the main blade. The secondary blade is marked "SS" at the tang. The main blade has " CASE XX " marked in a stylized red etch on the left side. How often do you ever see nice early Case knives like this in this condition today? This one looks as new! WOW!! This one is as new showing no signs of use. DO NOT mistake this for being cleaned or polished, it is indeed NOS (New old stock)! It's as clean inside as it is out!!! Really nice early knife!
