Offered for your consideration is a fine vintage Case XX 6208 half whittler pocketknife. This is a 7-dot example from 1973. This is a popular old-school pattern that just has that classic Case look and feel. The knife has seen light to moderate use and remains very nice. The knife has not been cleaned or buffed and remains original. In fact, it hasn't even been oiled. This is a very solid, tight, and well-built folder that's fully representative of the fine quality Case was known for during this era. The carbon steel (vanadium) blades are free of any serious corrosion or pitting with just a couple small spots of light surface peppering as shown. The master blade has been lightly honed and remains close to full. The tip is very slightly rounded as shown but has no burrs or bending. The pen blade appears to retain its factory edge and remains sharp. The edges are very nice on both blades with no nicks, chips, dings, or damage. Both blades are free of any grind marks and the knife shows no signs of abuse or rough treatment. Blade travel is smooth for both blades and both are solid and completely tight in the open position with absolutely no wobble or play.
