This is a 3 DAY auction for (1) vintage "Case XX" -HATCHET / KNIFE COMBINATION WITH SHEATH-. The stag handle is in very good condition and has a 3" rule / latch that is marked "Pat. Oct. 22, 1935". The hatchet and the knife are marked "Case Tested XX". Neither blade has been sharpened and both fit tightly into handle...t is no wobble!!! Both have some light scratches and a little wear. The rule/latch also has light scratches and a little wear, and a few spots of minor surface corrosion. The leather double sheath has an embossed herringbone design and is marked "Case Tested XX" on one button and "Pat. Feb. 5, 1935" on knife pocket. The stitching is good, but t is a 1/2" tear at top of knife pocket and some wear and discoloration. In very good condition considering the age!!! A rare vintage collectible!!!
