Beautiful, CASE XX USA, 5220 Ten Dot, Stag handle, peanut pocket knife. This knife came from a store that my father owned from 1966-1973. This Case 5220 knife is in MINT OR VERY NEAR MINT condition - it has never been used, sharpened, or carried, but it may have very minor, nearly imperceptible, scratches just from being shown and being stored in a box with other knives, most of which were wrapped in oiled paper from Case. It measures 5" when the longest blade is open and about 2 7/8" when closed. The longest blade is 2" from tang to point, the small blade is 1 3/8". The tang is marked CASE XX over USA over 10 dots on the front, and 5220 on back. This knife is very clean. Under loupe magnification I can see a tiny stain or blemish on the back of the blade w it was opened and closed closed, and I see another tiny blemish on the bottom of the case. I have not tried to clean or polish this. The handle of this knife is the original beautiful stag. The photos show a very beautiful, shiny stag on the front. The colors tend towards yellows and browns with dark grooves that are very shallow on the front. The colors on the back match the colors on the front, but the grooves are deeper and more intense on the back. The handles have never been replaced, and t are no mars or cracks or surface blemishes or stress fractures of any variety. The blades of the knife and its action are tight with plenty of spring and half stops as you would expect in the brand new knife that this is. The photos are of the actual knife you will receive. I have no others like this one, each knife is unique! The knife has been in my possession or my father's possession since he removed it, new, from his store.
