Vintage (circa 1940) Singer electric sewing machine. Model 201K2 In very nice cosmetic condition. The motor spins quietly but when you attach the belt it doesn't seem to have the power to turn the machine itself. It's a bit odd as the machine turns smoothly when you manually turn the dial thing on the end! Maybe it just needs some lubrication, I do not know, please bear this mind when bidding. It also needs a new light bulb. There is a bit of damage to the plug bit that goes in the machine but this doesn't effect use. It comes with all the attachments etc shown in the photos, including the boxed button hole attachment and instructions for an edge stretcher. Not being an expert (far from it!) I do not know if all the bits and bobs are complete. The original instructions are also included. This machine cost £22 in 1940 , the equivalent of over £1000 at today's prices!!! She is a heavy old girl and due to the size and weight of this item it will be sent by courier in the UK ONLY (extra charge for Scottish Highlands/Northern Ireland etc. If in any doubt please ask). Alternatively collect from Birkenhead, Wirral, Merseyside (Near Liverpool). Cash on collection please. If you have any questions please get in touch. Please see my other items.
