I have a number of old doorstops currently listed on eBay but this one is my temporary pride and joy. Hard to find and seldom seen, it is a vintage elephant and palm tree cast iron doorstop. It has beautiful original (my pics aren't the best) polychrome color with a partially felted wedge bottom. I think it dates to the earlier 1900's. I could find no maker's mark or numbers. It is almost 14" tall and 9 1/2" across the base...truely a VERY cool collector item. I normally do not put a reserve price on my auctions...however, to protect my intial investment, I have placed a break-even reserve. It is a bit heavy so well packed USPS Parcel Post shipping is based upon 12 pounds from 08330. Insurance is optional. Questions are welcomed.
