RARE VINTAGE PAPERWEIGHT Cast Iron Puppy Dog
Griswold or Hubley Mold Just Look at this Lovely Old Cast Iron Puppy. From the same or extremely similar mold as the famous Griswold or Hubley Puppy Dogs, although this one is unmarked, this Puppy has been around. This Paperweight stands 2" tall by almost 1 3/8" across. Look at the expression on that face! And the set of those ears! Precious and Pouty! This Figure has the patina, weight, and feel of OLD aged Cast Iron. Heavy for its size. Age appropriate wear and spotty corrosion, verifying age. Nothing that would detract from his SIMPLE ELEGANCE or VINTAGE CHARM! The perfect addition to any Vintage Paperweight or Canine Collection! Please ask questions prior to bidding.
