We are offering for your consideration an exceptionally nice vintage Griswold Cast Iron Big Block Logo Flat Bottom Tite-Top Dutch Oven # 10 and a matching Griswold Raised Letter Tite-Top Dutch Oven Lid / Cover # 10. Circa 1920's. The Dutch Oven has its original bail handle. Both the pot and the lid are in excellent, clean condition with no rust, no pitting, no cracks, no repairs. The Dutch Oven sits on a hard surface and will sit flat on or in your stove. The cooking surface has minor utensil scratches to be expected also. The lid sits flat on a hard surface also and sits flat on the pot. The Tite-Top Dutch Oven is marked on the bottom: THE GRISWOLD MFG. CO. CAST 10 IRON TITE - TOP DUTCH OVEN Griswold Big Block Logo in the center ERIE, PA., U.S.A., "PAT'D MAR. 16, 20." 835 B; 10 on the bail ears. It measures approximately 12" in diameter; approx. 5" deep. The lid is marked on the outside (in raised letters): GRISWOLD No 10 TITE-TOP DUTCH OVEN; on the inside: PATENTED FEB. 10. 1920. Griswold Big Block Logo in the center ERIE PA., U.S.A., 2553 A. They have been carefully and gently cleaned, then coated with a light layer of vegetable oil to protect it from rusting.
