Up for bids is this vintage cast iron pot with lid. I have not been able to identify a maker of this pot. It has a star on the bottom of the pot, and a star, a 3, and an eight on the underside of the lid. This is a heavy pot. It measures 10" in diameter, 6 3/4" deep, and weighs over 12 pounds. The pot has some light rust on the inside, and very little pitting. The bail has a few small bends, but in good shape. The pot and lid appears to have no warping or cracks. It is in very good condition overall. I would appreciate someone identifying this pot if they can. Thanks for looking.
