Antique / Vintage Catholic Rosary with Black Wood Beads This is a nice small to medium size rosary with oval black wood beads. Its made with the twisted wire construction to give it extra strength. From about the 1950's and in excellent condition! SIZE/LENGTH: Small to medium size - 17" in length TYPE OF BEADS: Oval black wood CENTER MEDAL: Sorrowful Virgin Mary on one side and Jesus with His cross on the reverse CRUCIFIX: 1 1/2" - Marked "Italy" METAL FINISH: Silver APPROXIMATE AGE: 1950's CONDITION: All beads complete. No damage or signs of previous repairs. To preserve the life of your rosary, I recommend keeping it it in a case or container when its not being used. It will prevent it from getting tangled or damaged. It will also make it very convenient to keep the rosary nearby in your pocket, purse, or briefcase.
